The Ventanilla de Salud is a program of the Government of Mexico developed by the Department of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that has taken effect for over 20 years and operates out of the Consulate of Mexico in Leamington, Ontario. In alliance with the Migrant Worker Community Program | MWCP, we now have the pleasure of launching The Health Window or Ventanilla de Salud.

On Sept 17, 2023,  The Consulate of Mexico in Leamington and MWCP | Migrant Worker Community Program signed a memorandum introducing this incentive with hopes of improving access to primary and preventative health services for our Migrant Workers.

Our vision

The main vision of the VDS is to offer a Health Hub where our Migrant Workers feel oriented and educated toward the prevention and treatment of disease.

Our services will offer orientation, counselling, education and mental and physical health prevention. We also provide guidance on eligibility and health coverage inquiries.

We will be present at the Consulate of Mexico every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We are also available from Monday to Saturday on an on-call basis should you require immediate intervention to speak with a Ventanilla de Salud representative by calling us at (226) 202-0258 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for any health-related issue you may be experiencing or simply with an inquiry you may have.
